Atostek designs and implements application specific software systems for medical use.

We also provide consulting services in the field of medical imaging and software system design. We can also assist our customers in purchasing processes. Our expertise covers among others PACS, DICOM and HCA.

Atostek's expertise

  • Good knowledge of image processing methods
  • High-speed implementations for example video stream processing (real time applications)
  • Presenting an image on monitor screen and in print. The conditions to consider are non-ideal of various monitors, various colour spaces, and other such problems.
  • Several years of experience in PC-architecture which enables efficient optimisation of algoritms in time critical or computationally challenging solutions.
  • The knowledge of image processing and analysis libraries e.g. National Instruments' LabVIEW, Halcon and Matlab.
  • The knowledge of DICOM, PACS systems and other topics related to medical software.
  • Ability to wrap image processing algorithms into components that are commonly used in industry (ActiveX or simple DLL) and can easily be taken into use by customer.
