Using camera to guide AGV to a pallet

The AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) move the pallets around without human control and with an exact precision. The pallets are delivered to a warehouse by a manual forklift. Hence, a human-machine interface is created. For AGV to be able to pick up a pallet left by a manual forklift, a system is needed that gives the exact position of the pallet to AGV. In this article we will discuss a machine vision system that uses one on-board camera to guide AGV to pick up a pallet.
